The most direct way to support library services is to volunteer.
How to Sign Up:
- Complete the Volunteer Application Form at the bottom of this page.

2. Get a hard copy of the form at NEMI Public Library. Bring the filled out form to the front desk during regular library hours or leave it in the drop box when the library is closed.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions.
Bookshop Keeper
Help maintain an efficient and inviting book sale area.
Community Outreach
Help promote library information to the community such as flyers, posters and brochures.
Event Support
Assist with special events such as open houses, fundraising and special programs.
Program Facilitator
Lead a library program related to an interest, hobby or skill that you have and want to share.
Virtual Reality Assistant
Assist with virtual reality use by patrons and/or at the Centennial Manor.
Seed Librarian
Help keep the seed library organized and growing.
Circulation Desk Assistant
Assist at the circulation desk when requested by staff to free them up for special projects or programs.
General Assistance Pool Member
Be part of a pool of volunteers the library can put a call out to when tasks or projects arise. Be willing to promptly reply as available or not available.
