What you need to know:

  • Daily Vehicle Permits can be borrowed for a maximum of 7 days.
  • There is a limit of one pass per household at a time.
  • Passes will only be loaned on an Adult Membership card that is in good standing.
  • Passes are available on a first come first serve basis – no holds.
  • Passes are eligible for 1 renewal and back-to-back borrowing will be limited based on demand.
  • Late fees ($20.00/day) and pass replacement fees ($225.00) will apply.
  • The pass entitles day use for one personal vehicle (excluding buses) and all its occupants at many provincial parks subject to regulations.
  • Permits must be displayed on the rear-view mirror or dashboard of the vehicle while it is in a park.

We recommend that you check the Ontario Parks website for up-to-date information to plan your trip.  The Daily Vehicle Permit does not guarantee park entry, reservations can be made up to 5 days in advance, for more information see: https://www.ontarioparks.com/dayuse. When patrons arrive at a park, they will need to bring the seasonal permit that they have borrowed from the library and a printed or electronic copy of the confirmation e-mail that indicates that they have secured a space at the park on the day of the visit.

Park capacity limitations may apply.  See Operating Dates to view which parks will be open for your visit.
