Looking for a space to host a club meeting, business presentation, workshop, birthday celebration or other event? Whether you are a business, local club or organization or an individual citizen, NEMI Public Library’s meeting room is available to rent for a variety of events.

Spaces for Rent
Our meeting room is available to rent during or outside of regular library hours. For more space, the community areas in the library, in addition to the meeting room, are available to rent outside of regular library hours. This includes children’s area and toys and various movable tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit your needs throughout our bright and open space.




Capacity

Our meeting room is suitable for groups up to 17 people and has been used to successfully host a variety of workshops and meetings in the past. For larger groups consider rental of the entire library outside of library hours, up to 140 people.

- Large screen TV for presentations via computer
- Moveable tables and chairs

NEMI Library has special equipment available to rent for in-library events with meeting room or facility rental:

How to Book:
To book, fill out the Facility Use Request and Agreement Form. Copies of this form are available at NEMI Public Library.
Facility Use Rules:
- Follow the NEMI Library Code of Conduct: Be respectful of others, be respectful of Library property and be safe.
- Damages to the meeting room, furnishing and equipment and excessive clean-up will be paid by the authorized renter.
- Set up, take down and clean-up will be the responsibility of the authorized renter unless otherwise specified in this document.
- Use of materials or decorations on the walls requires prior approval.
- Non-alcoholic refreshments and food may be served in the meeting room. Cleaning of the kitchen space is the responsibility of the renter, including returning all dishes, etc. used to their original locations.
- The maximum occupancy shall be obeyed as posted. Library Maximum Occupancy: 140 Meeting Room Maximum occupancy: 17
- Approval is required at the time of booking to sell goods and services.
- All users will agree to hold the library harmless for any loss, damage, liability costs and/or expenses that may arise during or to be caused by such use of the library facility.
